How do I change the voice the Android mobile app uses to read aloud?

I got a new phone with Android 15 and Samsung One AI 7. The voice the Android Logos app uses to read aloud it too high pitch for my liking. (My old phone used a lower pitch female voice.) I know I have choices for voices on my phone, but how do I get the Logos mobile app to actually use a different voice?

Shalom Kiyah,

I do not have a solution but I want to confirm that something changed with the update to One UI 7. After my Samsung smartphone received the latest update I noticed that the TTS voices were different.

It seems the Logos app keeps using the Google TTS engine even though I have the Samsung TTS engine set as my default.

I have searched the internet and apparently Samsung has changed their policy with the latest update; only Samsung apps are allowed to use the Samsung TTS engine ☹️

Does mixing protestant/catholic/orthodox libraries interfere with links in books?
