Public Notebook of Highlights of OT verses quoted in NT, and Store vs Library discrepancy.

Ok, I came across something weird I don't understand.I was looking in the public documents for a notebook that has all the verses in the OT that are quoted by the NT. I thought it would be cool to highlight or underline all those verses so when I read through the OT I can quickly see that a NT author was referencing it. (I get that for free the other way around since I read the LSB and it puts all OT quotes in the NT in small caps).In short, I couldn't find a public document like I was looking for, so I expanded my search to see if there was a book in my library that had a list. Sure enough there was! Here is the citation for it:

Philipps, H. David. Old Testament Quotes in the New Testament. Logos Bible Software, 2009.

What's weird is that when I search the Logos website to link to it, I can't find it anywhere. It exists in my library but not in the store. Huh?

So 2 questions I guess:

Anybody know what's going on with the library vs store discrepancy for this title?
Does anybody have a notebook of highlights of all the scriptures in the OT that are referenced in the NT that they would be willing to share?

I also have that resource, but have no idea when I got it. Perhaps it is a resource which Logos offered previously, but then lost the right to sell it. That happens occasionally, but you still get to keep the book.

I don't think so…. It looks like the publisher is "Logos Bible Software, 2009", so maybe it's just part of the software and not something that's for sale. I'm going to guess that maybe everyone has that resource.

Perhaps you are correct. I should have looked at the publisher so I could give the appearance of being smart and well-informed 🙄

I think it is the dataset behind the New Testament Use of the Old Testament tool.

You can make what you want with a visual filter. Use intertext:source:"Matthew-Revelation" to find all of the Old Testament texts that are cited in the New Testament. To create a similar style for the NT use intertext:target:"Genesis-Malachi".

@Justin Gatlin , I'm trying to make that visual filter and I can't get it to work. It doesn't show up on my list of visual filters at all. I'm sure I'm just doing something wrong.

Part of the problem may be that I got it backwards!

intertext:source:"Genesis-Malachi"

Intertext:target:"Matthew-Revelation"

You can always test a visual filter in search.
