I'm seeing what looks like a hand drawn arrow next to a Bible verse in my Bible window. I have attached a screenshot. How did it get there and what does it mean? (I have a Max subscription.)
Thanks!
This is either a highlight or a visual filter
It looks like it has been drawn from the Emphasis Markup section of the Highlighter Tool.
Try turning off Highlights and / or Visual Filters and see which causes it to disappear.
Nevermind! I figured it out. It was a highlight feature. The problem was that I was trying to left click and right click on it and nothing was happening, so I couldn't figure it out. However, when I clicked and dragged over the verse to highlight it, the highlight popup showed the circle-with-a-slash icon. This tipped me off that there was a highlight. When I clicked on that icon, the arrow went away. [I don't remember putting that highlight there, but I might have during some training exercise.]
I hope this might help somebody else with a similar question.
You found it, Graham! It was a highlight feature.
Thanks for your response!
Is there way to define a search in Logos that will allow you to count the number of occurrences where a certain word begins a sentence or a verse?
I'm wondering if there's a way to type "John 3:16–17" and have the full verse auto populate in a Word document on a Mac. I've seen it with other apps. I've seen stuff like that online. I'm just wondering if Logos allows me to do that as I'm working in an app outside of the Logos app.
is there a way to increase the font size just for the one resource I am reading?
I'm thinking there are invisible characters like MS Word, because I selected all in a note and changed the font size to 12. Later I hit return in the middle of the note and what I typed was 10 point. I'm thinking this is old technology and the user notes should be rebuilt from the ground up based on Markdown. In smart…
I would like to quote from psalms such as Psalm 142 and many others, but there are different verse numberings. When I insert a link to Psalm 142:4, for example, I see Psalm 142:5 when I hover over it with the mouse. But Logos also recognizes these different numberings and quotes verse 5 with Psalm 142:4 in parentheses. How…
