The text to speech currently is very poor. I would like to see an upgrade, so we can listen to all our texts and books.
A great example of already working software is the tool speechify. It has different voices, different speeds, but more importantly: it can skip over anything between brackets, notes, etc. That way you dont have to listen to all the authors of a book that is quoted between brackets.
The problem is speechify is 12 dollars a month, which is way too much. I think this can be a lot cheaper when a big company like faithlife has some sort of integration with speechify, or develops something like this itself.
