Easy Start to Planned Sermons on Dashboard

I map out all of my sermons for the year in sermon manager the December before the year starts. What I would love is when I open dashboard, it would know the upcoming sermon I already have planned and have a "Begin this week's sermon?" tile where it would open a "write a sermon" layout when clicked on. Right now, if I just go to "Write a sermon" it automatically opens a new, un-named sermon which I then I have to replace with that week's sermon via searching documents.

It's possible there's an easier way to do that but again, I have the sermon dated, titled and passage all filled in. I feel like it wouldn't be that difficult for the prgram to recognize that. If there is an easier way to open up a layout for a pre-planned sermon (with commentaries, bibles and all that) please let me know.

Hi @Mark Thometz - I can see how this would be really useful but I don't think it's possible to do at the moment (as you have found out).

You could create the layout you want (including a Sermon Manager tab) with Bibles and linked commentaries etc. And you could add the layout to your dashboard to give you easy access to it.

When you open the layout from the dashboard, you could then open the sermon from the Sermon Manager. You would then need to adjust the position of the Bibles manually - to match what is to be used in the sermon - which should cause commentaries to be updated as well.

So it's not a simple card but it might make what you are doing a bit easier.
