Many of the pdf's used to create personal books now contain the cover as the first page of the document. It is often in a format not supported by the personal book builder cover selection function e.g. avif so that the user needs to know how to convert images from one format to another. This difficulty could be bypassed, if Logos were to default the cover image to the first page of the resulting file when no image is provided by the user. This would be a significant step forward in demystifying the creation of personal books. And personal books are a major piece of making Logos useful to the users of underrepresented denominations and languages.
