Please make Reading plan and Study Assistant start/stop marker distinguishable

Please make Reading plan and Study Assistant start/stop marker distinguishable - it is confusing to have them identical. If I had my choice, I would narrow the divided to little more than the print height for study assistant and leave is as it is for Reading Plan.

I'm intrigued that some people get the "reading plan like" markers while others (such as me) just get a temporary highlight.

Or is there a specific action that generates the "reading plan" markers?
