I need to change content background to a color not in the limited palette shown. How do I access the color chooser/picker ?

Hi Farid. Welcome to the forums!
I assume you mean this palette?
I believe these are the only colours available.
However, you could create your own background with your preferred colour (in, say, PowerPoint) and then upload that as a background.
