My banner is set to on. I closed it once and now it won't come back. Think this is a bug.
The "Today In Christian History" card is all over the place.
Why is it in multiple places? Why not have just one card with a little dedicated scroll bar, to include the entire list on one small card.
Births and deaths seems to be the only history provided on that card. But you guys have enough Christian history books to know how rich the history is. I'm sure you could include all kinds of interesting history events.
It would be nice for it to be pinned to the top always. Having a news feed at the top. You could also have a "What's happening in the Christian world today" news feed (not just history but current events). You could partner with a Christian news outlet to get interesting headlines.
And a chat section. People could sign up to groups. Churches could have their own private group, where they could study and chat in the same program. And there could be a public chat, to say hi, etc. To not have to moderate you could require a group leader to moderate it themselves, as requirement to making a group. The major popularity of social media, seedy websites and multiplayer video games is social interaction. Adding a news feed and a social element (for subscribers only) would increase the attractiveness of the value offer. Not just an AI bot answering questions that secular AI bots can already do for free.
Would be nice if we could customize what goes onto this card.
So we can put our habits on there that we use, and remove things we don't use. You could consolidate other cards, like the Devotional and Layouts cards. Those would work fine in this card, but only if we can customize it.
It could have an order of events. You could have a user-customized recurring to-do list. Devotional, then Bible read, then casual read. Something like that, where you click "start my list" and it would open the first layout. When you click on "done for today" for that reading plan it would open the next in the to-do list.
Would be nice to have some custom background behind the dashboard, and maybe some music or something.
