I changed the formatting of my favorite Bible, for my daily reading. I made it a paragraph reading style.
But now it's stuck that way, when I'm using that Bible for other things like referencing (Even with the saved Logos layout, it's still stuck). So I have to manually go back and forth with chapter numbers etc.
Just as we have "preferred books" can we have a "Bible Types" list please.
Logos will open the Bible in the custom format that we chose, per the circumstance that we are using it.
Ideas for possible types:
- Paragraph
- Reference
- Marked Up
- Presentation
There could be a Bible toolbar icon with a drop down menu, you choose the type and it will open the Bible at that custom saved format. And we could have different tools open that particular type, after it was linked up with that tool. We would set up the Bible format as we like it then "save as type". Then it's available in the menu, and we could link that type with its appropriate tools. For example, if the Study Assistant opens the Bible from a link, it will open the Reference type.
Paragraph: Plain text, nothing on it. Paragraph format for reading.
Reference: Layout the same as an analog Bible, with verse numbers, chapters etc. Used for working with verses.
Marked Up: Highlighting, notes, links, info pane open etc. for study.
Presentation: Full screen, text justified, larger font etc.
