Unable to Download Error

Just adding my name to this list of people struggling and frustrated by this. I am using the iPad version. Purchased the complete NICOT/NICNT set and the Bakers NT Commentary set a couple of days ago. Started downloading them to my iPad to use in offline mode. Some worked. Some didn't. But once they didn't work they appeared "hung" so that going back and trying to download later generated an immediate error - the same error as shown in the screen shot by another poster. Very frustrating! And, no, I don't want to deinstall and reinstall and need to re-download everything. Not unless I know it will work.

Wonder about connecting iPad to iTunes - sync - look at logs => http://community.logos.com/forums/t/28865.aspx
Also wonder about disconnecting iPad from AC, powering off iPad (press and hold home button until red power off slider appears - slide to power off - wait several minutes), connect AC adapter (should power up iPad), follow by launching Logos and retry changing one resource offline mode to ON - wait for airplane icon before changing another resource offline mode.
Observation: forum includes download crash issue with logs => http://community.logos.com/forums/t/29153.aspx (noticed low memory error logs that coincided with Logos 1.6.2 crashing after downloading resource for offline use)
Keep Smiling [:)]

Same problem here, appr. half of my resources will download, half will refuse. What does not work one day, may download the next. No logic at all. Would be happy to hear what Logos wizards have been able to do on this very painful and expensive issue. After all, reading online costs a fortune on data transfer costs and is teasingly slow.

Today I deleted the Logos app from my phone, then downloaded the new Logos iPhone app version 1.6.3 in iTunes. I synced with my iPhone, then removed my phone from its dock.
I was able to download all of the resources that I have tried before, and there was no problem!
To test the offline resources, I put my iPhone into "Airplane mode", no network connection, then started the Logos app again. All of my offline resources showed up fine. I've tested a few of them and they work just great with no network connection. This is a first for me.
THANKS VERY MUCH for resolving this issue! [:D]

I am having the same issue on my iPad. Connected to AC power, lock time set to NEVER, WiFi connection very strong, left it running all night to download and had four books not downloadable. (Holman Atlas / Guide / others I cant recall).
Offline reading is a must for me. I wish for an easier way to sync resources for offline use, but moreover, am eager for this method to work without issues.
Looking forward to the update mentioned earlier in the thread.

I am going to resort to this and add them back one at a time. [:'(] two days work down the drain.

Having uninstalled the app from my iPad, I opened iTunes and downloaded it and synced. So ASV is the only book OFFLINE.
I decided to try and install the "Baker Encyclopedia of the Bible" only, and it failed after about 15 minutes.
Help I am at the end of my tether. Contemplating wiping the iPad and starting all over.
EDIT: I did decide to restore my iPad to factory settings. I have now reinstalled Logos again and just tried to make the NKJV bible my first OFFLINE book. After about two minutes I received "Error loading book - Logos could not load the specified book"
I don't understand why I am having so much difficulty with this. Logos IS my primary reason for having an iPad.

Thanks Dave for your response. It may not warrant me doing so now.
I spent the day at a friends workplace where they have a fibre optic internet connection and it is blazingly fast. It took me all day to download the books I wanted - fingers crossed I will never have the sign out problem.Interestingly, when at home, I can use the iPad App Store on the device, and it sucks down a hefty app (i.e. Pages 51.3MB) in a matter of a minute or so...but for whatever reason, my bandwidth had major issues with downloading the books. I am happy to say I have most of the reference works on my iPad that I need for now.
