Is L4 B10 slow starting up for anyone. Mine is AGONIZINGLY slow. It takes forever to get through the "synchronizing" process. I can actually go get a cup of coffee while waiting. It is that slow! Once up, its fine.

Apologies: synchronizing dialog box only appears for a couple seconds for me after launching Logos 4.5 Beta 10 on Mac (sync was current before closing).

i did cruise over to the win forum and posted. I think you are right this is a problem with both sides Mac and Win. Mine box takes nearly 5 minutes to boot L4. The sync feature is what is so slow. At any rate thanks for your input.

Curious if diagnostic logs have any interesting messages ?
Option: download and use an applescipt application 5504.Logos4MacLogging.app.zip to display logging setting, then change to enable logging.
Wiki has => http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging#Mac with terminal commands, which are used in applescript application.
With logging enabled, can open Logos4.log and Indexer.log files. For sync issues, suspect Logos4.log would be most helpful.

I just timed my start up. First step was "signing in" which was OK. The next step was "preparing your library" which also was OK. It took over 5 minutes to complete the "synchronizing" which is UNACCEPTABLE! This apparently is a problem on the Windows side as well.
