We have released four new book study courses by N.T. Wright on Faithlife Courses.

We produced these courses in partnership with N.T. Wright Online and The Wisconsin Center for Christian Study so there are some differences from them and original Mobile Ed courses. The videos were filmed by N.T. Wright Online. The courses do not have transcripts or activities resources. They do still have quizzes, some reflection questions, and reading links to N.T. Wright's New Testament for Everyone commentaries.

Check out the new N.T. Wright courses here.

    Miles,

A couple of questions for you. first how is the video quality? second, how new is the content?

Could you put a snippet of one of the videos online so I could see it. I have been extremely happy with Faithlife's mobile ed courses, if these are the same quality, then I'm all in!

This is my personal Faithlife account. On 1 March 2022, I started working for Faithlife, and have a new 'official' user account. Posts on this account shouldn't be taken as official Faithlife views!

The courses were recorded between 2015 and 2018. Just to add to the clip Mark provided, here is a sample clip from the Ephesians courses: https://vimeo.com/202231068. The clip is taken from a 17-minute segment on Eph 1:1–14. We'll look into getting clips like that one on the product page.

Mark, thanks for noting the reference to transcripts (leftover from the template we use for Mobile Ed courses). We have corrected the product pages.

We have released four new book study courses by N.T. Wright on Faithlife Courses.

Miles, I quickly looked for these four new courses in Faithlife TV, but I'm not able to access them there.

    Here's my reasoning:

    1) Your post announcing these videos is in the "Logos Mobile Education" forum.
    2) The Faithlife TV Church subscription was sold as including "everything on Faithlife TV Plus, AND all the Logos Mobile Ed videos..."
    3) If these new videos are promoted in the Logos Mobile Education forum and we have a Faithlife TV license that includes all of the Logos Mobile Ed videos, I would expect to be able to access these new Wright videos via Faithlife TV.

I've only recently seen the courses.faithlife.com URL, and I'm hoping we will not have future video content being routed there instead of (rather than in addition to) Faithlife TV.

Please let us know if we can get the new Wright content in Faithlife TV.

Thank you for all that you and the team do!

One additional supporting point for my optimistic expectation is found in this thread (https://community.logos.com/forums/t/171354.aspx) where Faithlife Connect is marketed as including access to "Faithlife Courses (ie, Mobile Ed)."  Equating Faithlife Courses with Mobile Ed (albeit in the context of Faithlife Connect there) reinforces my hope that we will be able to see the new Write courses in Faithlife TV, with a Church Subscription.

Brad, thanks for your ongoing interest in our courses!

    Product Group:  Logos Mobile Education

    • These are 1st party, Faithlife "original" courses, available for purchase in Logos.com and in our new webstore at courses.faithlife.com
    • The course videos will be accessible in the Faithlife TV platform if:  (1) you've purchased and own the course or (2) your church is a subscriber of our Faithlife TV for Churches product, or (3) you are a subscriber of our Faithlife Connect product and you've used your redemption codes to access a few specific courses

    Product Group:  Faithlife Courses

    • These are 3rd party, licensed courses that are available to purchase and own in our new webstore at courses.faithlife.com
    • These courses will always be accessible in the Faithlife TV platform if you have purchased the course outright.
    • Please note:  As we enter into new, outside partnerships for courses (like with N.T. Wright) we will not always be able to offer this same level of access. Access to these 3rd party courses in subscription products like Connect and Faithlife TV for churches will have to be negotiated on a case by case basis for the foreseeable future.
    • Please note:  3rd party courses may also have slightly less functionality within the Logos environment (such as fewer reading links and activities)

I am really sorry if some of the messaging you've come across has made this unclear. Logos Mobile Education courses and Faithlife Courses are similar, but have some distinct differences. I hope this helps?

Ben, thank you for your reply on this.  It's certainly disappointing, particularly given the communications I highlighted, but I appreciate you following up on the inquiry.
