Bequeathing Library?

I have a fairly large Logos library of almost 15,000 resources. I have a terminal disease, so one of these days before long I won’t be able to read them (or care). If those were book books I could easily pass them on to some deserving soul. I’m wondering about the possibility of passing ownership of my library to another user. Can it be done when the time is right?

For some more information, here's a couple forum discussions on this topic:

Basically, you need to call Customer Service and let them know what you want to do, and if possible, who you want to bequeath the library to.

Stay strong, Randall. We all deserve nothing, but are greatly loved.

Randall, may the Lord slow the progress of this disease down and give you more time than anyone expects to enjoy what you have. I pray for unusual strength and peace for you.

This was well said. I have added you, Randall to my list to pray for you that you may have strength and peace.

From this earthly perspective, I am so sorry this weight and sadness has been added to your and your family. May what time you have left here be blessed in the midst of unwelcome challenge and change. May the Lord sustain you with his presence and hope. My prayers are with you and your family.
As to your procedural question, that's been sufficiently answered, it seems. I am thankful Logos simplified the process and made it affordable (it used to be $20 per license change, if I recall correctly.)
I like Apples. Especially Honeycrisp.

I have been receiving the academic discount for several years. Does that limit my ability to pass on my library after I'm gone?

Ron, I don't know why it would. You would just arrange for Logos to transfer your licenses as desired.

I know academic discount matters when you try to resell a book. You are not able to sell a resource you bought with an academic discount to another user who doesn't have the discount. In the event of death though, maybe they'll make an excuse?

I had a customer service representative tell me that my Logos library could still be transferred in a will even with the Academic discount, but this was all verbal and I didn't know if there was anything official written down somewhere.

It has been a year since you wrote of your health issues. I do not know if you are still reading the forums, but I am writing to let you know that you are still in my prayers.

Thank you, brother. That means a lot. God is at work and I’m still alive and kicking for now.

Another year has almost past and still praying for you. Not sure what the situation is now.

Thanks for the continued prayers, Mark. Nobody is sure how much longer I'll be around, but I think it could be a few years yet. I have some awful days in the meanwhile, and also some decent ones. I have found my Lord to be faithful and true.

Glad to get an update. You are still on my prayer list. So good to hear when believers through experience, find the Lord to be faithful and true (1 Cor 1:9)
