Also while a Revised version is coming this year, the new notes do not seem overly an improvement from the brief exposure I have had to it (less scholarly and more doctrinal as well as being shorter). Now it must be said I do not have a copy of the RNJB, just reviews I have read.

Uh, oh. I just wanted the notes ... not the doctrine. Nabre's notes remain good. Safe so far (no offense to doctrine people).
I bought the NJB readers edition, was not sure if the "preorder" of the complete at least would give the readers until/if the complete comes out. So if I pay the preorder will the complete actually come out some day? of should I just skip it?
It will be very well worth it if it comes out... the notes are very good.

It will be a couple of months depending on other things we've got in the pipeline.
Seven months would be fine for me. I'll plan to be in U.S. in the end of June 2020.

I'd bet (not much), you're looking at Verbum packages this fall. Prepub-ers next spring. When people sign up, it's only to add another line in their libraries ... no Logos customer actually 'needs' books, and thus no rush.

You appear to be reacting to the speculation of a fellow Logos/Verbum user. This resource requires a great deal of tagging and linking. It is not reasonable to expect it to be produced quickly; if it were we would be complaining about quality. Faithlife has a history of releasing resources at a fairly steady pace - and informing us of difficulties causing a delay when we ask.

They have to re-build some of the shelves in the library (since it's a not-a-Bible, but needs to go on the same shelf with the Bibles). I can hear hammering and sawing, whenever I look in my Logos library. Now, whenever the janitor starts up, that's the key. The librarian already has the card catalog ready.
I think Kyle G. Anderson is trying to say - without revealing disclosures about the next version of Logos / Verbum - that there are additional features being rolled on then and not only does this book have to be coded to work with all the current features of Logos/Verbum, but it additionally has to work in the next version. A Logos Bible isn't just a FaithLife novel where only simple hyperlinks exist to source material quoted in a book, Logos / Verbum is very tightly integrated with the other books so that searches for original Greek and Hebrew can be done, I'm sure that if you just wanted a text file of this bible, they could provide it now, but I don't want a text file, I want this to be as excellent as the rest of the resources I have. Perhaps Mr. Kyle G. Anderson could give us a simple explanation of the complicated work that needs to be finished for this work. I understand that when the Boss says "Don't release the book until it works completely with the next version of software, you have to do what he says.
Actually, study Bibles are notes. And Kyle is super-busy. No rush for me ... need those new shelves to be perfect.

Well, reading the product page, and then notes, apparently there's a Bible and notes. No mention of interlinear, though that would be nice. Is NABRE interlinear ... Jerusalem, even better. And apparently the 3rd edition of the Bible might be superior ... I want the 2nd edition notes.

I can't speak for the product team on when they'll ship it but I can say it won't be available until after March 17. It's shipping with a new Bible data type and won't have application support on Desktop and mobile until after March 17, which is when Logos 8.12 ships.

Is it possible to miraculously accelerate the process of publication of NJB? Seriously, during the Quarantine, it would be an excellent gift for us form Faithlife. What is more, it would be an outstanding asset for the preparation of sermons for Easter. Anyway, we're waiting...God bless you!
Sorry for the lack of response. I had to take some extra time to finalize some things involving the new Bible Data Type and making sure everything was supported on mobile and web clients.
It's been passed along to the products team and they'll be posting a ship date soon.

Thank You Faithlife for a wonderful implementation of this important Bible. I am only just exploring it now but it appears to be a very top notch implementation of the Regular Edition (Study Bible).

Why did they publish it in two volumes? One is the text, the second is the notes.
When I click on a lettered note (in the Android mobile app) it goes promptly to the notes, but then I cannot return!
If they put it in one volume I doubt they'd have that problem.
Maybe I'll find a work around.

This is the common way of publishing bibles (mostly study bibles) that have lots of and/or very voluminous notes. It allows having both resources flow alongside in two tabs, and it allows highlighting and commenting the notes - much better than having those as footnotes to a text. In some cases this may even be necessary due to different publishing rights for the bible text itself and the notes.
The multiple resources display helps. I use that display quite often but have not really learnt how to use it.
The tool is like a minefield, never could predict when it works and when not, but usually after some trial and error it works.

How does the NJ. with Complete study notes compare/contrast with the Catholic Study Bible (NAB)?
Yes, I figured it out. I stumbled upon the split screen by accident, I never really knew hot to do this before - it has some sort of icon at the top of the "screens" of the books that are open and if you click that, you can add another book. You can do the same thing outside of Verbum/Logos Android with Chrome browser and other compliant applications. Not well documented but I found several confusing how-to pages about it.
All is fine now, I have the top and the notes in the bottom, even better than scrolling back and forth.
Excellent - what notes - amazing I can even open the Ignatius Study Bible - which has several OT books and the entire NT in another window.
The amount of notes is amazing. That's why I love the NJB. I had the original edition signed by Salvador Dali who did the artwork.
