Course video controls no longer work

Trying to do a course on a MacBook Pro using the latest Logos Software is nigh on impossible, as the controls for the videos no longer work.

No matter where or how i click i cant get any response from any of the options.

I even uninstalled and reinstalled (painful and time consuming) to no avail.

This is getting more and more frustrating now as it's been like this for a while with no apparent fix coming. I didn't drop thousands of pounds on courses and materials not to be able to use them!

You're correct that reloading the software rarely solves the problem. Can you be more specific about what does not work? volume control? pause? start? ...

Nothing works. I open the video in logos (see the image) None of the buttons work, click on them nothing happens. I can use the space bar to pause/play the video, but i cant get anything else to work.

Which specific version of the Logos engine? MacOS? Can you provide a screenshot and name of resource?

Not sure why but the last post i added here hasnt shown up.

On the video itself none of the buttons work at all. I can however use the spacebar to play/stop the video, but not to do anything else.

The above is the course im currently doing, however i've tried 10 others and they're all the same, no controls working. I even downloaded the media thinking it was a streaming issue.

I'm using the mac version, says Logos Bible Software 8.13 (8.13.0.0008)

    David,

Check your program setting and make sure both your content and program scaling is set to 100%.  this bug causes many problems

Apologies since can use Mouse for Course Video controls using Verbum 8.14 RC 1 (8.14.0.0010) on macOS 10.15.5 (albeit am puzzled by one control that a mouse click toggles display of line in control)

Mouse controls work using Content Scaling of 100% and Program Scaling of 100% so also curious about scaling settings.

Thankful for macOS System Preferences => Display that has Scaled resolution (for all applications).

    Keep Smiling [:)]

Can’t use the mouse, that’s what I’m saying. None of the buttons work, at all. I’ve had this for months and had no response to emails or anything.

I didn’t drop thousands of pounds for resources that don’t work. It’s very frustrating and annoying. If this were a normal shop I’d of taken it all back and demanded a refund by now

And it certainly isn’t helping that every time I post here I get a message saying I’m suspected of spamming so my post is being held for review. Not a good way to treat your customers
