Increase Video Playback Speed?
On the Logos website there appears to be an option to increase the playback speed of the sample videos. But on the course I own, in the desktop app, I can't find anywhere that would allow me to do this. Is there a way to speed up the lecture videos?
Some are spoken at such a slow pace that is hard to sit through.

I would find this a useful addition to the Logos Mobile Education video player on the desktop. There are professors who talk very slowly, and it would be nice to speed them up, and have some options such as normal, 1.25x, 1.5x, 1.75x, and 2x speed. That should be enough options in my opinion.

I have taken quite a few of theses courses and all have the ability to change speed in lower left corner of the video box. It should start at 1x. Clicking makes it go up to 1.4x, 2x, 0.75x, back to 1x. It just cycles through the speeds with each click. This is in windows 10. It is not available on web app or IOS app on my Ipad. I wish that it did work on my Ipad. This has been working like I described (for me anyway) as long as I can remember. I am currently using version 9.0 SR-2.

From this thread, the video speed seems to be the Mac version of Logos lacking the same features as the Windows version. It would be nice if Logos could add video speed adjustments to the Mac & iOS.

Whether this is intended as a joke or not, it certainly wouldn't hurt to offer 2.5x & 3x. Some Southern drawls are so drawn out it would take 3x just to equal a Yankee twang.

The adjustment of speed is shown by the arrow ... the values you can see there are the available values.

Has there been an update regarding the video player for the Mac client? It still doesn't allow me to speed up videos. Someone had shared a screenshot of the player on this thread, but that's for the Windows client, not the Mac client. Here is a screenshot of my Mac client and it doesn't have the speedup controls.

So far as I can tell, no. I would really appreciate it if video playback speed could be increased for Mac.

We do have a case for implementing this feature on Mac. I've added a link in the case notes to this thread so that we can post here if any improvements are made.

I do find it kind of crazy that after years, we *still* don't have video playback speed adjustments on the Mac. Hoping this can be added soon.

Even with all the upgrades in Logos 10, was this not one of the things already on the agenda? People have been having this issue since at least 2018, according to the forums, and I'm sure well before that.
In order for me to speed up videos I have to keep my desktop version and a browser version open at the same time. I speed up the videos on my browser version and do the work on my desktop version. That can't be running as intended.
Andrew, thank you for the update. I hope it's not just added to the case files, but an important QOL feature for mac users.

In the mobile app I see playback speed is limited to 2.5 (at least in the audio) while your working on adjusting the playback speed could you also ask them to increase the limit to maybe 5x. I routinely listen at 4x and keep growing in my speed. 2.5x is very slow and it would be very useful to have more speed.
