out of print book
Many years ago, my Logos contained a fictional book about Jochebed, but that was not the name of the book. It was an out of print book. I do not remember anything else about it. Is anyone familiar with it?
Thank you!

Hi Charlene - Welcome to the forum! As you probably know, some books disappear over time from the Logos stock and it can be become difficult to tell what was once there. I've no real idea, but could it be one of these - both of which cover Jochebed:
Texie Susan Gregory – “Slender Reeds: Jochebed's Hope” (2016)
https://www.amazon.com/Slender-Reeds-Texie-Susan-Gregory/dp/1634099605
Mesu Andrews – “The Pharaoh's Daughter: A Treasures of the Nile Novel” (2016)
https://www.amazon.com/Pharaohs-Daughter-Treasures-Nile-Novel/dp/1601425996
Good luck with your search. Keep well Paul

This one is still in Logos (for US customers): https://ebooks.faithlife.com/product/129290/slender-reeds-jochebeds-hope

Thanks NB.Mick - I must have had "available to me" ticked when I looked on the Logos site. As I'm in Australia, it wouldn't have shown. Keep well Paul

Others have given you good possibilities of what it might be, but I'll take a slightly different tack:
First, if you owned it many years ago, there's an exceedingly good chance that it's still in your Logos library, unless it was so many years ago that it was back when we needed to back up our licenses in order to install Logos on a new PC. But since I think Logos 4, the Logos servers have maintained all our licenses automatically.
So, on the assumption that you still own it, but just can't remember the title, you can probably still find it.
1) You could start by typing Jochebed in the "Find books" box in your Library. Even if her name isn't in the title, it might be in the book's metadata (e.g., the description), in which case that would find it.
2) If that doesn't work, you could try a Search for it, as surely the name Jochebed was mentioned in the text of the book somewhere. But you don't want to search for it in ALL of your books because you'll find hundreds or thousands of hits. So you'd want to filter your Library to only search in Ebooks (as fiction is nearly always published as an Ebook edition). Here's how to do that:
a) Open a Search panel
b) Click the Books tab to search in Books
c) Above that, click where it says "Your Books"
d) In the Search box that comes up there, type edition:ebook
e) Click the link that says "#### books with edition:ebook"
f) In the Search field, type in Jochebed, and hit Enter.
g) Click to Group (the results) by: Book
h) Sort the results by Count
i) Now visually scan through the titles to see if one of them rings a bell. The book (if you still have it) will probably be near the top of the list, because you've sorted by number of occurrences of the word Jochebed in the books.
Yes, it's lots of steps, but if you've done searches similar to this before, most of the defaults will be set this way already and you probably won't have had to do all the steps. I just included them all just in case.
