IT would be great to be able to import a verse, then delete the portion(s) of the verse I am not talking about OR bold/underline/emphasize color a portion of the verse in my notes.0

Yes, Yes, YES! I cannot tell you how many times I have wished this was an option as I am preparing my sermon. I usually resort to not putting the verse in at all and manually typing out the parts that I want. This would be huge.0

Yes, absolutely!0

when someone enter in a Bible verse into sermon outline and the reference text is automatically added in a quote box, there should be a way to edit it by underlining or highlighting verses. I know a lot of pastors that do this in their preaching so that they can spend some time on a word or phrase.1

Yes, as I am trying to make the switch from Word to Sermon Builder, I am missing the layout functions of Word. For example, I have always written my sermons in 2 columns (it makes it easier to not lose my place as I glance down at my outline). Also, I would love to customize what "Heading 1," "Heading 2," etc. look like (maybe bold, with color, etc.). In Word, I can click at the top and "Update Heading 1 to match selection." I know the folks at Logos have a lot going on, but if they could build a few more features like these into SB, I think they would win over and keep a lot of us who have always used Word or Pages.0

As of now, you can’t edit passages in Sermon Builder. We need the ability to edit the passage: shorten the length, italicize, bold, highlight, etc.1

The ability to have a partial verse by typing Acts 20:24a and then Acts 20:24b would be immensely helpful.0

Wouldn't it be nice to be able to edit/format the text of a Bible slide without having to click on the slide graphic, click on edit, wait for the slide to load, and edit in the little field on the left hand side? Yeah, I thought so too.
There are times that a verse splits a sentence, and I want to remove the partial text. And, there are times when I want to emphasize a word with ALL CAPS. Couldn't we do that directly in the text as we see it in the Sermon Builder?1 -
This Logos 9 reviewer agrees:

See especially time stamps 4:00 - 5:40.

You actually CAN edit the Bible verses within the Slide and also markup within the presentation! I just found that out recently. Make sure to use a good font, that allows italics and bold.
Use *text* for italics
Use **text** for bold
Use __text__ for underline
Use new paragraph and * text for bullet points.
Since that is already possible, maybe all we need is buttons?0 -
When using the sermon builder and I allow the program to automatically generate verses I cite, I am unable to mark up the text. I would find this feature useful.1

Without this option, I need to put it into Word to make this possible. Would love to do it all in Logos.0

I often need to refer to (a), (b), etc and the current setup is more difficult than it could be. I can edit the slides in Proclaim but my preaching notes then still contain the full passage0

I would like to be able to edit the verse without breaking the link to the translation. I preach in churches that use different Bible translations so I want to be able to quickly change to the translation I need for that week. But if I only want to emphasize the second part of a verse I don't want to leave the entire verse in my manuscript. I understand that it would be hard to know what segment of the verse to keep with a different translation, so I would be content if changing the translation reverted back to the full verse and I would remove the part I don't want again.0
