Possibility to show ALL tags in notes tool

At the moment it is impossible to see ALL tags in the facet browser of the notes tool. If I click on "More" underneath the tags it only shows the 30 most used tags. That means I cannot see my tags used less frequently and have to guess what tags I already use and even worse I cannot search for notes with these tags! That is very impractical. PLEASE enable that ALL tags can be seen (as in the facet browser of the library or the Bible browser, for instance, where you can click on the "More" button several times until ALL items are shown).

Thank you, Richard, for supporting my request. I'm quite surprised that nobody else seems to have our problem. I suppose EITHER no one else is using more than 30 tags OR they are all such brains that they can remember 100+ tags and don't need to look them up. It must be my age... :-)0

Me too! I'd love to be able to see a list of all my tags. (Interesting that the mobile version allows for it - I'm glad for that.) For now, I think I'll need to limit myself to 30 tags. Otherwise, I can't see what I've already created, and things get messy.

Considering the amazing search and filtering functions in other areas of Logos, searching or filtering tags in notes is huge disappointment.0

Since all tags are available for filtering in the mobile app, the limit of 30 in the desktop client should be regarded as a bug. But I agree it is essential for using tags, however it's classified. Perhaps the relatively few votes suggests that many people (me included at present) aren't using tags because of the 30 tag limit in the desktop client.0

Thanks for your thoughts. Yes, it is a bug – the filter side bar in the library tool can show an unlimited amount of tags. That's why I don't get why this hasn't been fixed in the last few years. As far as programming is concerned it should almost be a matter of "copy and paste".0

By the way: If you've read this far and miss the functionality mentioned above you might also be interested in a feature that is at least as important for using tags in a useful manner: Make the notes tool show all notes that have the search term as a tag:

For instance, if you search for "glory" make it show not only those notes that contain the word "glory" in the text itself but also those that are tagged with "glory".0 -

The ability to see/list all tags is essential for success of the note function without it users lose time trying to find "the" note. Also need to be able to search all note tags combined by a tag word.0

This is something that needs to be fixed in a coming release as it limits the effectiveness of Logos overall to not easily be able to access you notes by filtering on tags. Many people spend a long time developing tagging structures to find out there is a line in the sand on how many they can see.0

I add my vote for this proposal but I'm probably going to stop using the user-assigned tags on notes at all because other basic features are missing. Too much hassle for too little benefit.0

This remains a really critical issue as of March 2023. In my view, it is essential to be able to effectively filter/manage/manipulate large amounts of note with tags. I would also like to ask that there be some additional capabilities to export reports showing all tags/what's tagged/etc.0

I have a pretty structured tagging system with gazillions of tags, that I regularly use to create collections for searching and guide sections. I really need to see a complete list of tags. To do this now, I sort the Library by mytag, then scroll through, collecting screenshots into a Word doc, and print. Hardly a day goes by without my consulting that print document, and I need to recreate it every once in a while, especially as my library expands. There must be a list of mytags somewhere in my Logos data, but I've never been able to find it in the files on my computer.

I was very surprised that there are limitations in viewing my tags in the notes. I'm glad to see others are seeing the same things I am. PLEASE fix it so I can see all my tags in the Desktop version of notes.0
