Canvas: Full Apple Pencil Integration

Please make use of all the Apple Pencil marking tools available in Canvas as well as being able to erase within the Canvas. In addition please make the marks that are made with the Pencil smooth like they appear on the Draw on Screen feature. Currently they look like they’re drawn with an old computer mouse as opposed to a drawing device.

For Logos Canvas to replace Word in my workflow, I would need:
- An erase function instead of an undo button
- Implementation of the Apple Pencil tap feature to switch between pen and eraser
- Erase by object/stroke rather than erase by pixel
Therefore, I would strongly recommend the following implementation:
The "Draw on Screen" feature uses the built in iOS pen input menu. Please utilize this same built-in menu for canvas! That would greatly improve usability while making the UI more consistent at the same time, and it also accomplishes everything listed in bullet points above.0 -
@Robert Kelbe You can already use apple pencil in canvas -- just send your canvas window to the ipad from your Mac. Canvas will now be sitting on your ipad, and if you try drawing with the apple pencil, it will work!0

@Stephen Otto I know the feature is available on iPad. However, with no eraser, I only have the option to undo. If I want to change something from a few minutes earlier, I have to undo everything I've just done. Due to that limitation primarily, it is not usable for me right now. I am suggesting that they utilize the same full-featured capability that they have for the draw-on-screen menu.0

Is there a certain level to access canvas? I can’t access canvas in iPad app. The option is not there for me. iPad Pro 11. Free version.0
