The ability to drag a line (and subpoints) in the outline view up and down would be a great tool.

Because, well...sometimes we decide we need to say something in a different order.

@therealjoshmoore-25, we've discussed this. Would you want reorder any block in your document? Or just parts of your outline (with all blocks nested under them)? Would reordering in the document outline sidebar be acceptable?

@phil-gons the ability to do both would be nice, but if I had to prioritize I think reordering in the document outline sidebar with nested blocks would be my priority.

@phil-gons Yes please! dragging and dropping would make things much easier in the sermon builder. The manual cut and paste method is cumbersome. And an automatic reordering of the outline sidebar is absolutely necessary.
  • Agreed! The more dragging and dropping available, the better. Consider this as well...Yesterday I created a long Passage List of the "Important Passages" from the Passage Guide. As I read through them, I was adding them from the Passage List to the Sermon Builder. Would it be possible to add a feature that would allow me to drag and drop from the Passage List straight to the Sermon Builder? And then once the verses are in Sermon Builder, to drag and drop them into different places in the outline? That would be awesome!
  • The ability to move or reorder any block in Sermon Builder would be a great improvement to an already great product.
Please consider this addition. Current work-around - exporting sermon to Proclaim and re-ordering there - that is a lot of work.

This will be available in 9.7, which is currently in beta and planned to ship to stable on Aug 17, 2021.
