ESV 2001 or 2007 Editions

with the increased changes and revisions to the ESV Bible there is a greater disconnect to our congregational use (based upon hymnals and lectionary books) and the version that is used in Bible Study (using logos to project the text). I am requesting that previous editions of the ESV be made available.

Having a standard version of the Bible, no matter your preferred translation, provides a version that is easier to memorize. No matter the changes that are made to the official version, I want something like the NIV 1984, something that doesn’t change.0

I would love to see 2001, 2007, 2011, 2016, etc. editions clearly identified without having to add a filter or consult a notebook.

Revisions of anything that claims to be the Word of God, and is used in churches and homes, should always be chronicled and kept on record.0
