In the desktop version you can select text as an anchor to add to an existing note, but as far as I can tell you can only do this when creating a note in the app. If I want to select some text if a verse I can’t add that as an anchor to an EXISTING note only a new note. I’d like the option in the pop up menu to add text selection to an existing note, where it might pop up the notebook briefly and let me search for a note I want and add to it, etc

*in a verse, not if a verse

This is already possible. Pull up an existing note and you’ll see +Add Anchor below any existing Anchors.

@Jim Dean  I think OP wants to be able to directly select verse text in an open Bible to add a verse anchor to an existing note & not have to go through the verse lookup menu in an existing note that is brought up from the +Add Anchor option. I agree about this, as this seems more easier & less work to do & remember your verses/passage to add as such.

I would like for the Anchor references to the notes, to actually display the text of the verse, as well. I know that if i highlight the text, and make a note, it does do something like this. The problem is when I do it that way, the note itself, becomes tied only to that specific translation. This means that when I change to a different resource, another translation of the Bible, all of the notes that I made that way do not show up. The note symbols only becomes visible again when I launch that specific translation. It would be better if the anchor would display the verse text that it refers to, regardless of what translation I have pulled up. It makes sense that it would save whatever translation was open at the time that the anchor made. It would just be better if all of my notes could show up on all of my translations, regardless of how I'm making the note. Thank You
