What if Layouts worked like our actual desks, where we have books beside one another, AND on top and below each other? It would afford greater flexibility for study on the iPad and allow fewer swipes to get to needed resources.

This is possible for those who have purchased Logos 10. See https://community.logos.com/forums/t/210495.aspx

@Mark Barnes (Faithlife)  what he was talking about is like the webapp and desktop. You have 4 tabs on 1 screen but you on 1 tab you can example 4 different bible translations and other tab you have 4 commentaries open. So instead having 4 resources on one screen or page on ipad you would have 10 that would not require to swipe 2 times to have that amount of resources. Hopes this makes sense

@Mark Barnes (Faithlife)  is this something that could be added but still keep the current layout with 4 tabs and swiping. As I think people are studying differently and different things and therefore I thing having this option to customize the layout for each type of study would be great. I have asked similar request before but no feedback.

@Lukas  - the mobile app takes a very different approach from the desktop app when it comes to layouts. In the desktop app, there can be multiple tabs per panel, whereas on the mobile app, it's multiple panels per tab. While I understand the potential benefits, it would be a pretty major change to switch that around, or to add an additional level of tabs within a panel. If there's high demand for it, it's certainly something we'd consider, but it's not currently part of our plans.

@Mark Barnes (Faithlife)  I agree. Doing more would clutter the screen, slow down & complicate sync’ing. Folks need to get used to the inverted layout. Works great for me. Easy to swipe left-right, 4 at a time.
