Remember my location preferences

Every time I open the Android app it asks for location permissions. I don't want to enable location and I should be able to say no and not have it bother me every time I launch the app.

@Robert Minkler This is a known issue and we are investigating it. I will reach back out when it's been resolved. Thank you for your patience!

This popup at Logos (and FL Study Bible?) app launch happens between Saturday evening to Sunday evening (I heard that others said this, which represents the Sabbath time of sunset to sunset). I also believe someone mentioned about having unkown location set because of using a VPN & that was part of the reason for the popup or that they couldn't enable it for their location because of that. i> A feedback request is on this issue here (where I believe I heard about these things): https://feedback.faithlife.com/boards/logos-mobile-app/posts/allow-disable-of-find-and-connect-to-your-church-nag-screen
It would be assumed that could disable this popup setting or location requirement in the Church Presentation side menu item in the app. However, this setting (or settings in it) seems to be ignored even if whole setting is switched to "off". This seems to be broken & I, too, wish for this popup or asking to use my location to be stopped when we don't want it or need it. It's not too problematic, just a little slow down annoyance at app startup during those days if not already opened.
!> One thing I was just wondering is if the devs could make a quick update fix to the app to disable that popup entirely or location permissions for the time being until the issue with that setting or location requirement(s) is resolved?0 -
