provide more book information for old community pricing books now on prepub
Logos used to have community pricing for older books that they sold in large collections.
Logos lost interest in the program and discontinued it. Now the collections are being sold as regular prepubs, but all the information on the individual books is missing, so the only information a potential buyer will see is the book title. Not even the authors.
Here is one example.
Classic Commentaries and Studies on Genesis Upgrade (25 vols.) | Logos Bible Software
I called and explained that nobody is going to spend $200 for a set of books only by the titles. I was told that these are prepubs and they don't have any more information. They certainly did in the past. And these books are all public domain, so they definitely have hard copies on hand.
In the past, I have submitted long lists of books I wanted to see Logos put out, and I discovered that many of them were buried in community pricing. Now it seems they will never get out.

Are you sure the old community bag-a-books had lots of detail. My memory is they just moved the CP book pages into PP status.
But I agree, it's probably a lost cause at this point. The low CP price guaranteed a limited PP 'gathering interest' percent. My old observation remains true … if a PP didn't quickly get near-development, it was DOA. Now I notice the gathering-interest can be at 100% (visually) and just sits there.

No, I don't remember all of how much details there were but there were at least the names. I know, for example, that Delitzsch's commentary on Genesis is here. That would get attention, but you wouldn't know it. But how can anybody look up the books in other places without the authors? It's like they not only don't care, but they want to just bury it all.
