Song Title & On screen Title

Hi!
we'r about to create a big database with text files for our songs. I'd like to import them all as Txt. When creating a new song in proclaim it is possible to set a Song Title and a different on screen title. I was wondering if this is also possible to add through the mass import with Txt files. I found this list but there is nothing on there to do this.
Title: Test Song

Not at the moment. Historically, our song import was more about bringing over files from other software, and I don't think any of them had display title piped through.
We are actively looking at new options for song import/export so we can keep this use-case in mind.
Also, the biggest reason for the display title is Proclaim tries to match your songs against our database of songs, and sometimes that title is our official title, while the user wants to use a different title. The Song display title lets you make that change without actually changing the song.
We check for a matching song by ccli number and then exact title matches. So if you don't include the ccli number, and your custom title doesn't match a song, you will get a custom song for your worship team with the title you chose.
TL;DR No, our current formats don't support song display title, but if you make the 'title' field the way you want, you should be fine.

Thank you for your informative answer! Another question i got is when importing a dutch song that has an english translation it prioratizes the english title over the imported one. For example when importing the song: "Zegekroon" through CCLI Songselect it gets added in the database as: "Victor's crown" while the lyrics is fully dutch.
Is this something i could fix?0 -
You're welcome.
I will take a look! So you are searching for that song title, and then choosing a result from CCLI, but the resulting song item in Proclaim has an English title?

oh, you mean importing via a text file with a dutch song referencing a ccli number? Trying that..

I imported the CCLI Zegekroon. But when added in our database the title is english 'victor's crown'

Ah, I repro'd. This is totally because of that 'song match' I talked about before. We found a matching song, titled 'Victors Crown' and took that, and then applied your arrangement to it, complete with the on screen title as the dutch..
And here is the song in our DB
Ironically, we even list Zegekroon as an alternate title, but still preferred the english.

Is that something worth considering to fix? removing the preferred title from your databse to ours?
Also is this why the on-screen bible title stays in english aswell while our bible is in dutch? Bought in logos?0 -
Both should be fixed. The Lucas vs Luke thing is probably a similar issue (although totally different code paths in the app)
I will make a case for us to investigate.

Wow Jordan thanks very much looking into this. Especially the on-screen bible would help alot for us!
I just tried Zegekroon 'victor's crown' but it still shows english for me. I just updated proclaim aswell. I also deleted the song from our databse and added it again to see if that would fix it.
-Edit
Oh you meant you are making a case to fix it. I misunderstood.0 -
Oh sorry, yeah I did not make that clear. I meant that we should fix these as they are annoying in languages other than english.. We have not actually fixed them yet.
