I am trying to use the historical context feature, but it tells me I don't have a license for that. I have the Max plan, so I don't what else I can buy.
Any help would be appreciated.

DAL, as in they are both in the Tools menu
sorry but I don't know what you mean by "historical context" - can you provide a screen shot?
If you are attempting to use Green, Joel B., and Lee Martin McDonald, eds. The World of the New Testament: Cultural, Social, and Historical Contexts. Grand Rapids, MI: Baker Academic, 2013. That is a resource, not a feature. You'll need to purchase the resource.
M. J. Smith, what I am looking for is the historical context of books of the Bible and passages. I saw a video on it in the Logos tutorials, but now I can't find it again. I don't have a screenshot, sorry
Jack Caviness, Thanks, Do you find that a good resource? I am new to Logos, and so far I am finding it much easier than the old school method of looking at the books in my library
I haven't the slightest idea of what the Logos tutorials would label this way. I would go to the Help Center (the question mark on the tool bar), enter "historical context", and see if the videos returned get you back on track. Others may have better ideas.
Thanks M. J. I will try that
Maybe the Factbook feature? It gives you some historical context of the books of the Bible. There’s also the Bible Panorama feature (I think that’s what it’s called).
DAL, Thanks, the tutorial said it was in Bible Books Explorer, which is where factbook is. I will try that
Yes! Bible Books Explorer 👍
In case this helps, what I mean by historical context is,
where and when do the passage refer to?
who were the first readers?
what was their situation?
what else was going on in the world of the author?
what else was going on in the world of the text/passage/book?
I likely acquired it through a package deal, and I have not read it.
I am glad you found it. Now I understand what you meant, why I didn't interpret it correctly, and what tools you actually needed. Maybe next time, I'll do better.

As per the title, when I turn on Use Internet I can select to not download new books but not able to prevent Logos from sending my notes and highlights to their server. In order to download new books it appears I must sync my private data with their server which is a bummer. Is this even possible to have these stored ONLY…
How do I turn on the cross reference letters / links to show in the text of my bibles. See example below the letter r that is circled. I know I must have turned this off some time, because it shows in some of my bibles and not others.
Are the mainstream denominations of Christian churches misleading followers?
I had a whole Logos Library on my other laptop and it bit the dust. I want to have all those books I had on the other laptop that I had paid for on my new laptop. Is there a way to do this?
I am still having issues with copying a bunch of verses. I understand that I go to Share —> Passage List, but then after that the passage list is blank and wants me to manually add verses. It also says I can drag and drop the verses, which I would love to if I could select the verses, but there again doesn't seem to be a…
