Mobile Ed Courses included in Subscription

How do I find the Mobile Ed courses with my Logos subscription? If they are included in my Logos library, is there a way to determine which ones they are (I'd like to figure out which courses I have temporary access to, and which I can take my time working through).

Go to Library, select filter > Type: Courseware Media Collection > License: Temporary

You can also see the courses listed here - https://www.logos.com/subscription-faq - under the question, "What Mobile Ed courses are available in each subscription tier?"

Logos sends out an email every quarter listing the new Mobile Ed courses for the subscription. I'm not sure if one needs to be signed up for Logos marketing emails to receive that email. I received an email on January 2nd titled, "New quarter, new Mobile Ed course access".

Subscription Mobile Ed courses can also be viewed in the Subscription FAQ under the question, "What Mobile Ed courses are available in each subscription tier?": https://www.logos.com/subscription-faq?campaignid=21373142068&adgroupid=164793290153&keyword=&device=c&utm_source=google&utm_medium=advertising_cpc&utm_campaign=google_search-keyword_dsa_logos-brand_us_en&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiAwOe8BhCCARIsAGKeD54tAFA1qZTlikHCQt0E2s824E7VRUPrsXmhSg92umG0YKjC2Oe8VoUaAtUDEALw_wcB

Finally, you can view the courses that you have temporary access to by using the following search in your library: type:courseware AND license:temporary

Note that subscription courses that you own will not show up using this search, since it only displays the courses that you have temporary access to.

Once you have located these courses in your library, you can assign a tag to them (e.g. "Subscription Courses") for easier access. This tag, of course, would have to be updated quarterly.

I hope this is a good place to ask this. Under the previous set up you could pick 2 or 3 courses per year to use but you got to choose the ones you wanted. Is that no longer the case? It seems we have access to courses, but they are only the courses that Logos makes available for that quarter and then change. Am I mistaken? I just lost access to OT306 because it timed out, which happens. I was hoping to continue to use it but it looks like I would actually have to physically buy it to gain access to it this time around. Is that also correct?

You're correct. We get access to a set number of courses for the quarter, and we lose access at the end of that quarter. Take it or leave it. (Logos also discounts the courses at the end of the quarter, though there is likely an expiry date on this discount.)

Thank you. From a business perspective, I understand that, but from a usability standpoint, I liked having access to the useful courses. I would rather be able to pick 2 or 3 courses per year that I will actually use than 20 resources per year that I will most likely never even select. I use them to subsidize what I am preaching or teaching. I have enjoyed some of these so this makes me sad.

I wonder if this might need to happen eventually, anyway. Since they're no longer making these things, the presentations will start to look a little long in the tooth, and maybe become less appealing for people to actually purchase them. My theory is that they still hope to snag a few sales from people who want a specific one.

How are they no longer making them? There are 17 Mobile Ed courses in pre-pub right now.

I hope they are still making them, but it does seem like there haven't been any new ones for several years. While there are a few on prepub, they seem to have been sitting there for quite a while.

There were a large number of Mobile Ed classes in Spanish released last year. In English, the latest one seems to have come out in 2022 (there is one that says 2022-2024).

Personally, I like the idea of being able to pick your course. Perhaps it could be something like - Pro gets to pick 1, Premium 2, and Max 3. Maybe have one or two of the shorter 1 hour ones included for everyone?
