Logos Launcher

Would it be possible to wrap the application in a launcher that provides functionality such as opening a saved workspace instead of having to open the application and change it via program settings. The launcher could also allow an update before launch.

You can choose to open Logos to a specific layout or the last used layout. I also think people can use command line parameters to open Logos in different ways, but I don't know specifics of that.

I'm very aware of that, the point is you have to open the app and then change a setting. There are times when I'm doing exegetical work and I finish one project and set the program setting to get it to open up the new project when I start the app again. But if you are working on multiple projects you have to switch workspaces, set the program setting again and so on. If there was a launcher it would reduce that workflow and save time. I could be wrong but setting a program setting and changing the workspace over and over again, when it could all be handled one place seems very redundant to me. And at my age I don't have time to waste.

I don't think it makes sense to change the settings for a temporary work space. But if you add a shortcut to the layout to your toolbar you have the same number of clicks then in your suggestion with the launcher. Or even better add the layout to the dashboard, assuming you are using that. Using the layout button to open the layout or even the favorites bar also adds only one more click. Wouldn't that work for you? in my opinion an additonal launcher would add a lot of complexity for programmers and users for little gain.
