Known Logos limits:
- The translate function does not handle personal books.
- The text comparison does not handle multiple texts in the same book.
Discovered AI limits:
- It claimed there were "Our Fathers" in languages that it then refused to offer them in.
- I had to fight it to not include the doxology in the Catholic version although it omitted the embolism.
- It then refused to include the Amen in the Catholic version although it included it in the Lutheran version.
- It would argue over providing an unofficial translation when no ecclesial approved text existed … despite telling me about them in the overview.
- It preferred to provide reconstructions for the older languages rather than track down an actual occurrence.
- In one case it insisted on giving me a line of garbledegook rather than seek alternative sources - although it offered to send me to those alternatives …
Now I need people familiar with Nordic languages to tell me how gullible I am … or did I manage to weed out most the garbage data without successfully filling in all the blanks.
