Updating Logos 7 to subscription 47.2.0.2

My wife has her own Logos license. I used to update it regularly, but it's at Logos 7; so obviously it's been quite a while since I updated it for her. I purchased the subscription license for her, and I want to install the updated version now.

When I check "Update Now" in her L7 installation, it says "No updates available." So I downloaded the 47.2.0.2 installer.

My question is: Is it safe to install this recent of a version directly over her Logos 7 installation? Any caveats, recommendations, etc.?

Yes, a bit out of date!

I don't think there will be a problem. Once you log in with her credentials Logos should recognize her settings and her subscription.

If it does not work, you'll simply have to uninstall and re-install. All the old recourses will be re-downloaded provided that they were purchased with the same account/login credentials.
