Reading plan for Rick Renners Sparkling Gems 2

I want to create a reading plan for Rick Renner's “Sparkling Gems 2” after finishing book 1, but it's not really working. Logos doesn't divide the book according to the daily devotions, but cuts the book into random pieces. Is this because of this particular resource, e.g., because the headings are not tagged correctly, or am I doing something wrong?

Reading Plans for calendar devotionals and lectionaries are treated the same as other books because there is an inherent discord with their own readings. Even if it selects the book's daily readings, the Plan will start with Jan 1.
You are better off reading them from Dashboard (I speak from Desktop experience).

I believe they are working on reading plans in the near future. That would be a worthwhile project. If reading plans don't work for devotional books, what do they work for?
