Hi, I'm bumping this up again. I use OneNote to teach Bible studies since Logos doesn't have tables for comparisons. It would be helpful to use Logos with tables, so I can bring up verses
Have you tried tables as images in Logos i.e. make the table in your favorite tool, take a screen shot of it, and put the screen shot in a Logos note? It's not ideal but it at least allows one to teach from Logos.
As others have mentioned, this would be really helpful in sermon builder as well. (More so than in notes IMO). Something to consider, if adding it to notes and sermons would be too complicated technically, maybe just adding it as another type of doc, sort of like the prayer list, but slightly different?
Notes is one of the everyday features of Logos I use. The use of tables and collapsable headers would be very helpful!
Hey, developers. It's been five years since this request was first made, and we users haven't seen any response from you. Is there any update as to if you're even going to consider this? Considering you update the application every few weeks, could you perhaps even just have an intern put some time in to adding tables? The most basic form of table editing would be a light-year's worth of a jump forward! IMNSHO, it's even more valuable than any of the AI stuff put into an application, because it allows us to better organize our content as we study. And isn't that what Logos is about?
I suspect that Logos keeps a proposed schedule of projects for a year or so out, and that that schedule get changed frequently. Logos has learned to have an informal policy of not giving us projected dates for future projects. We users too often took them as promises rather than current intention.
It's a great idea. We'd love to do it. I'd personally make good use of it. But we have to make sure our limited resources are spent in the right places, and this one hasn't yet bubbled up across the line as one of the most pressing problems to solve. We do hope to give Notes some attention in the the medium term, and perhaps this could be included in a Notes refresh when we do. I'm sorry we haven't been able to deliver this yet. I'm really looking forward to it, as well.
Tables in Notes would be great as well as being able to use Markdown as well. Please continue to enhance Notes. It is one of my favorite Logos features now!
Yes
@Phil Gons (Logos) What would make it a pressing problem? Would it be more vocalization from people?
Unless it's an easy or critical bug fix (something we've already built and shipping is broken) or a really quick win (a small tweak that takes a developer a couple of hours), the vast majority of work we prioritize needs to have strategic alignment with what big problems we're focused on solving. Notes isn't too far off, but there's some foundational work we need to do first. I suspect we'll need to turn our attention to Notes later this year or next.
Yes, please. Even, for this post we have an option to insert table but not in Logos notes.
It's been 6 years since this was proposed… Even just adding markdown support would really be helpful.
I can see this being helpful in notes, but it should be added to the Sermon Builder, too.
This would make things so much easier. I currently bounce between Logos notes and OneNote because of the tables.

Logos Development Team, I am a long‑term Logos user and recently subscribed specifically to gain access to the Study Assistant. Overall, I have been very impressed with the tool. However, I immediately noticed that the inquiry text box has a very restrictive character limit. As a real‑world example, I completed the first…
I use Sermon Builder to create lecture notes for various classes, too. So, expanding the AI functions to help with non-bible subjects would be great. For example, an outline for Late middle medieval church history would save me lots of time and help direct research
would really love to see clippings integrated with Sermon builder
