Well, Rich, I appreciate talking with you. Not only does my Enter key not work in CBV, but if I click on the Arrow with my cursor/mouse nothing happens either.
Sure hope someone from Tech is following this come Monday.
Have a great weekend.

Have a great weekend.I am attaching my LOG files and posting here to provide a BUMP. Sure would like to use the CBV, but it is of no value to me. Something is wrong on my system I am sure, just don't know what.
Please, someone from Tech help me here. TIA

My Enter key does not affect the selection in CBV.
Strange indeed.
Yes the initial verse that shows in the box is the active verse in the Bible I currently have open. I can easily change it, by typing in the reference. But the change doesn't register with what's displayed below until I press enter.
I'm at a loss to explain why this should be happening. Maybe a tech support person should chime in here.
Rich,
Not sure if you are still following this forum or not, but can you list 3 or 4 distinct verses in the CBV and get all of them to copy? I just noticed if I stick to 1 verse only and hit Enter it will open that verse. Personally, that is not acceptable. Usually when I want to copy verses I will have a list of them to put in, not just 1.
Sorry to bother you, but this is a real mystery to me.

No. I can only copy one verse, or verse range at a time.
Examples: Ephesians 5:21, or Ephesians 5:21-33 works. Ephesians 5:22, 25, 33 does not work; only the first verse will show up.

There are a number of these nagging items throughout the software...(Handouts)
They are NOT going to be dealt with until after the (soon) release.
But don't blame the hard working Logos testers, this is part of the RUSH to the markeplace . Sorry.
My Hebrew transliteration font issue in Lexham Heb-Eng Interlinear (which supposedly is an XP issue -- but works correctly in L3 but not in L4 - yet both are running XP Pro) appears to be another of these "orphan" issues.

O.K. I guess for now the mystery is solved. I was thinking you were able to list a series of verses, i.e., Joh 3:16; Mat 11:28; Rev 22:17, and getting them to post. I was being envious, sorry. At least now I know that my CBV is acting like yours.
BTW, I notice that I am now running L4 with no Beta number. (4.0.3.2197) Does that mean we are getting close to a release copy?
Thanks again for your help.

We are at RC 4 (I think) and I have the same build number that you do. Updates are supposed to check automatically no more than once per 24 hours, so some aren't seeing all the incremental updates.
If you look elsewhere in this forum you'll see that we are probably less than 2 weeks from an initial release of L4.
Check this forum for more information (and speculation):

(Latest) 4.0.3.2197 is RC5, Rich
With 5 RC's in three days, including 3 of them yesterday, it is a little hard to keep up.

I also would like to see the "Copy Bible Verses" and "Dictionary Lookup" icons to appear in the Systems Tray. I use these all the time and although I know that I can get the Copy Bible Verses selection within Logos 4, I prefer the icon in the systems tray. Inside Logos 4 I cannot put in multiple Bible verses to copy as I can with the tray icon.
The Dictionary Lookup does not work the same in Logos 4 as it does with the tray icon. How can you scroll through the various dictionaries in your library within Logos 4?
Will the two versions be able to be run simultaneously as it is now? There are features that are in the current version that are not in the new Logos 4 that I really don't want to do without.
A help or some type of documentation to explain all the features within Logos 4 would be appreciated. I'm sure there are features that I have not yet discovered.

As far as I know there are not any plans to bring back the CBV or Dictionary Look-up system tray icons. [:(] Further, so far the CBV module in L4 can only handle contiguous passages. We haven't heard anything confirming or denying added functionality here.
If you prioritize your dictionaries (it seems best to group them together), you can scroll through them using the right/left arrow keys, though this doesn't work quite as nicely (IMHO) as it did in L3.
As far as we've heard L4 is designed to run simultaneously with L3. However, each will need it's own place to store resources. This means double the hard disk space for resources if you want all your resources available in both programs.
Help is still in development. Some help is available in L4 buy pressing F1, or the little circle with the question mark on the extreme right of the command bar. Right now the best way to get help beyond that is to ask on the forums.
Some functionality will be added to L4 as it continues to develop. For now, most of us will be keeping L3 until some things are completed in L4 (Sermon Files and a port of notes from L3 to L4 are two for me).
