Apostolic Fathers Greek-English Interlinear?
I was looking at the comparison chart of all of the packages and I saw that the silver level should have something called "Apostolic Fathers Reverse interlinear" and I can't find it in my library nor can I find it on the web site at all...
Can anyone shed light on this?
Also i just noticed this is missing:

Bob mentioned somewhere this morning there will be some more resources to come belonging to the packages.

Ebbe,
thanks...I didn't know that.

Robert,
Both Lightfoot's in Gk and "The Apostolic Fathers: Greek Texts " are interlinears.
Have you opened them?

And "The Apostolic Fathers: English Translations" by Holmes is the resource referred to in the second excerpt - a 1999 translation (not 1891) with a short intro to each document

The Lake edition of the Apostolic Fathers is the one that is reverse interlinearlized. If you open the English text of Lake, you should see the normal options for a reverse interlinear. Try typing "Lake" in the command bar and see if that gets it to you.

My bad Robert. I was looking with blurry eyes at multiple lines and thought "reverse interlinear".
Rick, I have Lake but it's not an interlinear.

Never mind Rick. I found it.
Robert's definitely missing it.

OK, I think there were some issues with the Lake resources and the recent updates. What versions of those do you have? (check the resource info).
Somehow a copy from 2008 slipped in, when one gets the latest files
things seem to be OK.This issue has been reported (over the weekend when I noticed it). I'm hoping that resource updates of Lake's English & Greek will do it and that we'll be able to do that soon (Bradley?).
Question: If you right-click a word in Lake's English, do you get Greek info as well in the right-click dialog? Or just the standard stuff?

No RevInt for me either. I have Gold LE, and I don't have Lake AF. I picked up Lightfoot with the upgrade, and I already had Holmes.

Rick,
The only problem is that I'm an idiot and it's almost midnight in Australia.
I never use interlinears and I was looking at the Greek text and couldn't see a button to bring up the English. Doh!

Well, hopefully as Ebbe noted...there is an update coming that fixes these issues.... [:D]

You mean I'll no longer be an idiot and it will somehow be early in the evening rather than late at night?

It's early here and the only thing saving me is coffee. I was hoping I was the only one with the issue.
Robert, if you don't have Lake's Apostolic Fathers in your collection (sounds like you don't) that is likely the problem. I'll poke around to see what I can find.

Same here with Gold LE, no Lake.

What is this "instant" of which you speak? Oh, you mean that gritty stuff Starbucks made to expand its market to folks who drink Folgers and Sanka? [:D]
I usually get the 2lb "House Blend" bag-o-beans from Costco. Decent coffee at 2lbs for 10 bucks. Standard drip machine. I'd prefer an endless supply of Starbucks Shade Grown Mexico if I had my druthers, though.

Did this ever get straighten out? It appears as though the interlinear is tied up with Lake's volumes, but Lake's volumes aren't included in Gold or Silver license, only in Platinum or Portfolio. It seems like either the interlinear shouldn't be included with gold or silver, or Lake should be included with gold or silver.

Craig,
the comparison chart pdf shows it to be a Silver, Gold, and Platinum resource.

I'm seeing on both the PDF and web charts that the Apostolic interlinear data set and Lightfoot's Apostolic Father volume are both included in the silver, gold, and platinum. But Lake's volume, which makes use of the interlinear data set, is only included in the platinum package and not the gold or silver package. In other words we with the silver or gold package have the interlinear data set but not the resource which makes use of that data set. It's like having a hard drive full of mp3's without the proper software to run the mp3's. That's why I said that the data set should either not be included in the gold and silver packages, or the gold and silver packages should include Lake's volumes. Hope that helps clarify.

Yes, we're aware and are working on things. As I'm sure you can imagine, it's a busy day today.

Right click brings up both english and greek words
I have Lake, Lighfoot and Holmes versions both greek and english versions

This tells me you have the same problem I had over the weekend. I believe some older editions of the Lake Apostolic Fathers files made their way onto the file server. Once you update them, this problem should go away. I don't believe the files are there yet, however. When I hear they are, I will update this thread.
Thanks for your patience with us!

Rick,
I imagine you guys are busy. Bob said you guys have been running at around 150% and are hoping to scale back to 100% soon, but I imagine today it is more like 250% for you all! [:|] Hope you're able to survive the craziness. Thanks again for all your wonderful work!
Robert,
did my explanation help clarify the confusion for you? Having databases listed without the resources they are associated with is a little confusing. I got tripped up this morning with the Lexham LXX: MT parallel. I was looking for a separate resource in my library until Rick helpfully pointed me towards the Logos LXX where the database is used.

Craig..
Actually no...lol...
do I get that resource or not?

Robert,
Interlinears are working differently than they did in Logos 3. In logos 3 you'll see the ESV and the ESV reverse interlinear both in your library. You could open up either book based on whether you wanted the reverse interlinear or not. If you opened the regular ESV and then decided that you wanted the Interlinear ESV you had to go to your library and open up a seperate resource. Now with Logos 4, instead of having two sepeate books (i.e. an ESV w/o the interlinear, and an ESV with the interlinear) you just have one ESV and the option to turn the interlinear database on or off. This saves a lot of room in the library and allows you to switch between what used to be seperate resources now with just a single click.
The question that Rick and the guys are trying to figure out is not whether we will get the interlinear resource or not (we have that), but rather will we get Lake's Apostolic Fathers or not? Having the interlinear database as we do now wont do us any good because we need Lake's Apostolic Father to use the resource. Hope that helps, its rather complicated, but it makes a lot more senes than the old way.

I admit that as an Original Languages Library user who also got the Apostolic Fathers prepub, I am a bit bummed that it looks like my Rev. Int for the Lake (and 1000 images) will expire when my beta licenses expire. Yes, I could upgrade, but...
