Thanks. This was starting to get painful.
Stephen Smith said:The second post was a hint, but not nearly as cryptic as some of you think....but look closely: it could definitely help you "focus" your hunt.
Still sounds cryptic to me!

Phew! I was genuinely considering doing that too!

So which is it!?
Stephen Smith said:It's not the result of a Google-like brainstorming meeting held among the managers over every Logos department. That level of Easter egg is never even hinted at that it exists.
Does that mean that they do exist!!!!???? [:O]

Well, here's an 'in-joke' (italics and underlined below) but I'm not sure it rises to the level of easter egg:

Is the easter egg the potential double meaning of major milestone, as it would also refer to the use of milestones in PBB's , in your post.

My 'hunch' is that whatever this Easter egg is, it will be somewhere within the 'Forum Week' forum. That post is available to anyone with or without a Logos.com account.

With the quote "C'mon guys focus" being a confirmed hint now, I thought that focus could be related to cameras and pictures. He said that he is not a programming genius so I thought that I would go back and take a closer look at the family picture that he posted in the "Meet and Greet (Plus Sale)". http://community.logos.com/forums/p/34510/258523.aspx#258523
I cannot find anything obviously "Photoshopped" in it. I was thinking that maybe he simply wrote in a book name or something.

I did think that the idea of "running and/or target practice" conjured up the idea of combining the two activities. Which seems a bit of a stretch and perhaps an 'in-joke' - although it is very similar to a winter, Olympic sport.

I thought the same. They do have slightly extensions, however.
Todd's also links to a different image altogether, whereas Stephen's is the same.
Anyhows, I think we're barking up the wrong egg here.

It was definitely worth putting it in here but it's looking more and
more like it's not worth the time/effort you're putting in....So, go back to my second post in this thread and re-read it. There's
more to that post than "Come on, guys. Focus!" Look at what is is
there....and maybe even what's not there. Then you might know where to start looking. No hidden meaning. No hidden message. Just an in-joke that people
familiar with the forums should be able spot as incongruous and then
discover what it really is/means.That's it. Simple. Fun. Like finding a real Easter egg and not a plastic egg full of treasure on Easter.

Yea, I (as the title of the thread suggests) have pretty much given up and now just checking to see if someone has found it.
I'm thinking that since I have already committed to one offer the sales rep gave me that I won't be able to afford whatever the Easter egg is. Even if it is a big time offer, such as something that is normally $1500 on sale for only $250 I still won't be able to get it.
On the happier side though, the one resource that I have committed to will be processed Monday and I have wanted it for a long time. The sales were just never at the right time for me as it was this week. So, I am very happy and excited. [Y]

I think they have yet to load the Easter egg. (It hasn't yet been found because it hasn't yet been laid.)

And what's missing is that you removed one of the lines from Matthew's quote when you used it (unless he added it later):
"5. I even highlighted Stephen's posts to see if he used white text on white background like the keyword spammers do."
Well...if that's a clue, it hasn't led me anywhere. I've highlighted (and lowlighted) everywhere that seems possible.

Yes, Todd, the fact that I left #5 out was a hint...because the easter egg is in one of my posts. I keyed in on that fact that people are looking all over the place, from source code, to employee rosters, to the product checkout process at logos.com!
And therefore, "focus!" As in, "this is for forum week. look in forum week. and what's more, look in my posts." [;)] I'm not that cryptic. But I really can't give any more hints.

The only thing similar to an easter egg I'm finding is the link to Jeremy Vanschoonhoven great video from America's Got Talent in the first post of the Meet and Greet (plus sale) thread... [:D]

Well, that's all well and good, I suppose. But have you noticed that the "Forum WEEK" topic has 34(!) threads in it. 34!!! Anyone think the term "run amok" might apply here?
Not to mention that some of the longest threads on the forum are included. [:|]

Dumb question, but
Is the Easter egg the green sunglasses on "a certain unnamed pup?"
It has been staring at me all week and Robert's avatar grew a halo.... Hmmm

Wonder about Off Topic thread having in-joke "The correct way to Hijack a thread" topic (since Hijack not included in post title and some forum guidelines added after original hijack thread with focus on using Logos Bible Software in forum discussions).
Also wonder about hidden possibility of extending Forum week for a week ? (allow time for hidden promotion sales to continue discussion)
