Bug: 4.3 beta12 LSGNT syntax

Hi Lauren
On the Windows version (same beta version of Logos) I also get no templates - I don't know whether the LSGNT ever had any.
On Windows I don't get the rendering and selection bug so that looks to be Mac specific
Hope this someone helps in tracking things down.

It's been awhile since I've tried beta, rarely use the software anymore, so thought I'd check to see how the syntax is at this stage (4.3 beta12); improvements if any, etc.
Noticed no templates for LSGNT as well as a rendering and selection bug. see screenshot:
I'm not seeing the rendering and selection problem in Beta 12 on my Mac. I wonder whether you had Logos 4 Mac installed during the Alpha phase and had changed Program Scaling when that setting was available (current versions do not include Program Scaling). That has been the cause of some other display inconsistencies seen on a few other users' Macs. This wiki article provides a solution if that is the cause: http://wiki.logos.com/Mac_Troubleshooting#Program_Scaling.
Currently there aren't any templates available for the LSGNT.

I can't speak as to the rendering/selection issue, but the Lexham SGNT has not had templates to date.

Melissa,
program scaling is set to 1.0 the default. During the Alpha phase the scaling factor was changed, then reset to default shortly thereafter while in the Alpha stage. So program scaling most likely is not the reason for this.
Wonder if this is related to this post here (which is still an issue).

By templates I meant being able to pick word specifics as shown in this post here. These are not available as I cannot choose "word" in LSGNT because of this rendering issue.
Hope this issue can be resolved soon.
Thank you for your reply.

Apologies: also unable to replicate using Logos Bible Software 4.3 Beta 12 (4.30.0.1276) (Update Channel: beta)
Puzzled about display issues: with program scaling set to 120 %, noticed File menu selection oddity (1st couple letters not highlighted when selected), but could open and modify Syntax Search (for Word, checked a variety of Syntactic Force choices):
Wonder about Program Settings (or Preferences) ?

Yes, that could be. I will include a link to this thread and a copy of your screenshot above to the existing case.

You should be able to select the itemsin the Word specifics, as Keep Smiling indicates above.

This issue also shows itself in OpenText. see screenshot:
Default text size is 100% in program settings to answer KS.
The pop-up window looks relatively huge (not look right). Wonder if console messages has any interesting messages ? Also curious about default font ? Likewise wonder about Mac OS X version ?
Recent forum discussion => Morphology Rivers? had some console error messages (so manual update recommended).
WIki Mac Troubleshooting => How to Report Bugs in Logos 4 Mac has link to Logos Log Scribe (includes copy of console messages in archive file).

KS, you are correct, the pop-up window is extremely large; fonts do not change the behavior.
Deleted L4 app and did a manual update - issue was not corrected.

Puzzling. When Logos 4 Mac Beta reinstalled, diagnostic logging was disabled. Console Messages had several "<Warning>: Logos 4 Logging is not enabled." messages. Wish Logos would add version number to console message. Also noted Logos Bible Software 4 had one hang several days ago, but console messages did not have any Logos pop-up error messages (different issue than Morphology Rivers? ).
Appears MacBook is shutdown nightly. For faster startup, may want to consider disabling Logos 4 Mac Indexer Automatic Launch When Logos 4 Mac launched, then Indexer is launched (can watch for blue icon in menu bar: hover over icon for status pop-up or click for menu).
Suggest enabling Mac Diagnostic Logging to verify indexing done and repeat syntax search pop-up, close Logos 4 Mac, then reply with log files: would like to see if Logos4.log or Indexer.log have any unusual entries.
In console messages, noticed ClamXavSentry running. Wonder if excluding Logos 4 Mac application folder and your Logos 4 folder from realtime monitoring preferences has any effect in Logos 4 Mac syntax search. For testing, may also want to try excluding Font folders. Not know if realtime scanning interacting with usability (personally not yet using realtime scanning on Mac; am aware of recent criminal malware development kits for OS X).

Just an update: still an issue in 4.3 RC1. Syntax is unusable. Really wasn't expecting a fix (nothing in the Mac release notes regarding a syntax fix) but hoping.
