What’s New In Proclaim for Windows Version 1.0 build 77?
Performance:
Completely re-wrote the slide rendering architecture so that slides in the timeline, order of service and preview sections are better virtualized. The bottom line is that Proclaim should no longer crash when displaying presentations that are large, complex or contain large amounts of styled text due to leaking memory.
Editing the title of a slide no longer forces a redraw of the whole service item, saving system resources.
Editing text or lyrics in a slide only redraws the slide in which the text changed, saving system resources.
Bug fixes:
Fixed memory leaks in various parts of the application, reducing its memory footprint.
Known Issues:
Application UI appearance is not consistent between Mac and Windows.
Due to the change to our rendering architecture, transitioning between slides when in Preview or On-Air is slightly less performant. This is most noticeable when transitioning to slides displaying lots of styled text (text effects such as drop shadow, outer glow, ect.) and in Motion backgrounds. Further improvements will in incoming to address this issue.
