Logos Saves Highlights Differently
Has anyone noticed that Highlights are saved differently on the PC than on an iOS device?
When you open the notes file on a PC the content is different. Highlights from a PC will not give you the entire text, but will only give you some of the beginning and the end with ellipses in the middle. Highlights made on the iPad will give you the entire text. (see the attached image: the first text is something highlighted on my PC, the second text was highlighted on my iPad)
Why is it different? And will Logos change this in the future?
I ask the question because my ideal work flow would be to prep on my iPad to a specific note file with highlights and my own personal notes, and then be able to open the notes file on my PC and have the full content of what I highlighted, etc. without having to click on each link. Will Logos keep the functionality as it is? Or are the one day going to change it? I would be very happy if they changed the way PC hightlights are saved, but it would suddenly change my work flow if they did it the other way around. Does that make sense?
Thanks!

Hi Steve
There is a long discussion of this in http://community.logos.com/forums/t/45032.aspx which might help explain what is happening. But we don't know whether this is going to stay "as is" or be changed.

Yes, see thread => Text of highlight truncated in Notes and => REQUEST: highlighted text via note creation and searches
Logos User Voice suggestion => Highlighting and Notes Integration Improvements

Suspect yes, personally prefer title with complete text, which allows searching in My Content, see BUGS: Essentially impossible to search My Content for highlights

Thanks for the responses! Sorry I did not see those threads . . . searching the logos forums is painful.

The suggestions at http://wiki.logos.com/Using_the_Forum#Searching_for_posts and the discussion at http://community.logos.com/forums/t/47318.aspx might help
