Emil Brunner - Our Faith
We discussed Emil Brunner in the Suggestions forum. He was an outstanding Swiss theologian (later eclipsed by Karl Barth). In the thread I gave two soundbites from "God in Dispute" - look them up there, if you want, and encourage Logos to bring us a Brunner's Lifeworks collection!
Several of his works have been translated to English in the early 20th century and those works seem to have fallen into the Public Domain. You can get them e.g. at Google books or http://archive.org/search.php?query=Emil%20brunner%20AND%20mediatype%3Atexts
Brunner wrote large works of systematic theology (Dogmatics I - III; The Mediator) but also smaller, lay-man friendly books. I have "Our Faith" in the 1962 reprint edition (looks like this) but of course what is a theological book outside of Logos? Since the text is available, and of manageable size, I started to built a PB.
I used the text for "Our Faith" which is available at http://www.religion-online.org/showbook.asp?title=2075 which is much better than the OCR'd archive org sources. I corrected some misspellings etc. according to my paper copy. I did not put in any pagination or links (he doesn't cite anyway - except scripture and probably one Luther song).
Some time last year I even checked all the copyright renewal databases - and it really seems this is free. However, there is no authoritative source really telling this - so in a sort of compromise, I won't put up the file here, but have uploaded it to a faithlife group https://faithlife.com/public-domain-book-club/documents
In case someone can dig up a more a definitive answer whether this is PD or not, I may post it here, or remove it over there.

Please disregard what I said. I forgot that I needed to join the group first which I have now done. Sorry about that.

My bad, I should have made this much more clear for those who are not used to Faithlife.
To access the book,
- go to https://faithlife.com/public-domain-book-club/About and join the group:
- as a member, you'll see a new tab with Documents - or go directly to https://faithlife.com/public-domain-book-club/documents
- now you can save the docx and build your PB
- as resource image I used the picture from the Amazon page I linked to (which is identical to my paper copy):
- if this is too colourful for your taste, you may use this instead:
Hope this helps - "sorry for the inconveniences"

It was more my fault for not figuring it out but I hope your explanation will help others. Thanks again.

I came upon my PB by some chance earlier this week and reading into it, found again what a nice work this is. However, checking the list of PB books on the wiki, it seems I forgot to enter it back then. So I just put a link to this thread into http://wiki.logos.com/User_Contributed_Personal_Books
