PB: Baltimore Catechism No. 4
[UPDATED file attachment was corrupted somehow; unable to fix it; removed file; see attachment on this post below instead]
(From Wikipedia) The Baltimore Catechism was the de facto standard Catholic school text in the United States from 1885 to the late 1960s. It was the first such catechism written for Catholics in North America, replacing a translation of Bellarmine's Small Catechism. In response to criticisms, various editions include annotations or other modifications. The Baltimore Catechism remained in use in nearly all Catholic schools until many moved away from catechism-based education, though it is still used up to this day in some.
This version, known as Baltimore Catechism No. 4, is an annotated edition for teachers.

I took the liberty to add heading markers so a good table of contents now exists for all the sections and questions. I also added page numbers based on the Word document (they do not match the Index, but with page numbers Read Aloud now works great!) I did some minor editing too, to clean up the format. If you like the changes, I offer this to the group...

I didn't know that page numbers were required for Read Aloud to work. Thanks, Don!Don Awalt said:I also added page numbers based on the Word document (they do not match the Index
The Index doesn't list page numbers, but question numbers, so you're all right there.I've inserted bookmarks at all the question numbers and lesson headings and linked up the table of contents and index with hyperlinks and fixed up the formatting of the index with tabs. I've updated the copy posted in my initial post.0 -
Thanks Rosie for updating it further - community work at its finest! FYI, I tried downloading it twice, and it says the file is corrupt. Can you try downloading the original posted update and see if you get the same error?

I am now at work, different zip code, different Logos install, and I get the same thing. This time I also tried right-clicking on the docx filename in the first post and did "Save As". I opened in Word 2010 this time not Word 2013 which is on my home computer. I am on Win 8 here, Win 7 at home . fgh are you on Mac or Windows? Not sure why this is happening (see picture)

Yes, I get the same error. That's weird. Here let me try uploading it again to this post.
EDIT: That seems to have worked. I tried updating the original post one more time and had the same problem. So use this version.

Thanks for fixing it Rosie. I thought I was doing something wrong but it was just corrupted.

Yeah, it's weird how it got corrupted. The file was fine on my machine, but when I attached it as a replacement to the initial post, something went wrong, regardless of whether I deleted the original attachment first, or just uploaded it to update the existing attachment. Must be a bug in the forum software. I'll report it. I'm guessing it might be hard for them to reproduce though. EDIT: Never mind. I could even reproduce it myself on a new trial post.
