Reasonably Thorough List of Logos Res Links

It seems that there isn't one, at least outside of Logos corporate headquarters. It also seems that such a list might be useful, given how often someone asks for one or more such links on the forums.
Your thoughts?

I'm guessing it would get out of date regularly and we'd always have to be bugging Logos to update it as new resources ship. Not much different from Martin and Joseph asking for links on the forums periodically.

Aren't these available just by hitting the information button on the top right of the resource panel when opened? I'm always baffled why people ask for them when they are readily available if the resource is open. Would someone who doesn't have the resource need the Res Link for some reason?

These are people who don't have the resources. One (Joseph Turner) is making a hyperlinked Personal Book of the Denver Seminary Annotated Bibliographies of OT and NT resources, as he explains here. He makes it available to all, so the links will work for people who have those books, but he doesn't have all of them himself, so he has to ask for the resource ID's to set up the links. The other (Martin Grainger Dean) is making a PB list of books he might want to buy if the collections are ever split up. I'm not sure I've got that quite right, but he explains it here. (I must say, I'm more supportive of Joseph's project, since it will benefit everyone. I'm getting a bit tired of providing the links for Martin as it's his own pet project. It takes me time every time I look up some of those links for him.)

Somebody may use logosres-links when they don't own the resource to e.g.
- set up a list of recommended reading (e.g. of a seminary, like Denver's) in PB or as Reading List
- complete footnotes in a PB
- enrich resources by putting links in Notes where Logos didn't (such as when Themelios prints a book review of a Logos resource)
- compile a wish list of resources
- use the preview feature of Logos to get a feel for the content
The necessary info is also available from the resource info in the look-into feature on Logos.com and Vyrso.com.
The only thing missing (and this is an unfortunate gap in the website functionality beyond the interest of logosres-link collection) is look-into for bundled resources. Currently we get print pages - as a waste of effort on all sides - or nothing at all. If Logos were to put up the look-into in bundles, we're probably done for all "live" resources. No need to compile/curate, publish and regularly update a ever-growing list of at leat 50k logosres-links.
Have joy in the Lord!

I'm not really sure why this needs logosres links. If you don't have the books yet, then a link to the product description page seems more relevant.

I'm sorry Rosie I have upset you. That wasn't my intention, just you have most of them (beside Logos [:D]). I always try to help myself here in any way possible if I can, although it's time consuming. Thanks again, Martin.Rosie Perera said:

NB Mick explained so many reasons we have to have a preview in all books. I did it myself some time ago. I don't understand why it can be achieved with single books and not to all from collections too. This will be an invaluable addition to Logos. Not all the time books have a print preview in Logos site. That's a shame! We can't make a clue only by site description (some of them lacks even a TOC). In fact you have to open more windows to see it inside (by browsing site). In a PB things it's going smoother and it's more comfortable (no external window open). We have a promise for "inside preview" in collections for almost 2 years now (July 2012 by Phil Gons), but no change (not really surprised, unfortunately!). Martin.Rosie Perera said:
