It seems that there isn't one, at least outside of Logos corporate headquarters. It also seems that such a list might be useful, given how often someone asks for one or more such links on the forums.
Your thoughts?
[:(] I thought you were posting such a list.
I'm guessing it would get out of date regularly and we'd always have to be bugging Logos to update it as new resources ship. Not much different from Martin and Joseph asking for links on the forums periodically.
Aren't these available just by hitting the information button on the top right of the resource panel when opened? I'm always baffled why people ask for them when they are readily available if the resource is open. Would someone who doesn't have the resource need the Res Link for some reason?
These are people who don't have the resources. One (Joseph Turner) is making a hyperlinked Personal Book of the Denver Seminary Annotated Bibliographies of OT and NT resources, as he explains here. He makes it available to all, so the links will work for people who have those books, but he doesn't have all of them himself, so he has to ask for the resource ID's to set up the links. The other (Martin Grainger Dean) is making a PB list of books he might want to buy if the collections are ever split up. I'm not sure I've got that quite right, but he explains it here. (I must say, I'm more supportive of Joseph's project, since it will benefit everyone. I'm getting a bit tired of providing the links for Martin as it's his own pet project. It takes me time every time I look up some of those links for him.)
Somebody may use logosres-links when they don't own the resource to e.g.
The necessary info is also available from the resource info in the look-into feature on Logos.com and Vyrso.com.
The only thing missing (and this is an unfortunate gap in the website functionality beyond the interest of logosres-link collection) is look-into for bundled resources. Currently we get print pages - as a waste of effort on all sides - or nothing at all. If Logos were to put up the look-into in bundles, we're probably done for all "live" resources. No need to compile/curate, publish and regularly update a ever-growing list of at leat 50k logosres-links.
compile a wish list of resources
I'm not really sure why this needs logosres links. If you don't have the books yet, then a link to the product description page seems more relevant.
