NT331 and Encountering the Book of Romans: A Theological Survey?

I'm posting here in the hope that someone from Faithlife will see my questions and respond.

I'm undecided, should I spend more moo·la on the second edition of Encountering the Book of Romans: A Theological Survey?

mEd NT331 has links to two versions of the first edition - the second edition was not available when this course was produced. Likely other existing resources link to or reference the first edition.

Looking ahead, will new resources include links to both editions (three versions)? I recollect an intention to possibly rebuild NT331 to include links to the second edition.

Then there are the images. I haven't yet confirmed that the second edition has images and if it does, of what quality. Examples from the earlier version of the first edition are less than compelling and the later version has no images.

Let me try to answer your questions:

Updating NT331 to include links to Encountering the Book of Romans, Second Edition

Ultimately, this isn't my decision but my feeling is that we'll be highly unlikely to add new links to the second edition any time in the next year.

General Linking to Encountering the Book of Romans, Second Edition

In this regard we're at the mercy of scholarship in general. If a resource cites the first edition, we will provide a link to the first edition. If a resource cites the second edition, we will provide a link to the first edition. This is true of any case where we have two editions of a book in our library.

Images in Encountering the Book of Romans, Second Edition

There are approximately 40 images in the Second Edition. I'll refrain from being the judge of their quality/usefulness.

If a resource cites the second edition, we will provide a link to the first edition. This is true of any case where we have two editions of a book in our library.

I would hope he meant "If a resource cites the second edition, we will provide a link to the second edition." The edition being cited should always link to that version. There could be major changes in subsequent editions that change the meaning of the original edition, so it wouldn't make sense for old resources to cite new editions.
