Issue with Matt Chandler's book on marriage

There seems to be an issue with the way Matt Chandler's book on marriage, "The mingling of souls" is licenced to us users. A current promotion for the book and a marriage convention offers the book for free for those who join the respective Faithlife group.
In this group, some people complain that they have no access to the book. I found my personal situation to be a bit more complex than that, so I want to describe it in more details, hoping this allows someone (e.g. Jim Straatman) to fix that for all of us.
Clicking through the reading plan from the Faithlife group website opens (of course) bible.faithlife.com - and I do have access to the book here:
as well as in app.logos.com
or in biblia.com.
However, the book is not in my library on Logos.com
Trying to do the reading from there fails, which (despite the misleasing wording of the tab message) simply confirms it's not there - and it doesn't appear upon restarting Logos, using the "update now" or even the "update resources" commands.
Following the "no license tab" link to logos.com leads to the Vyrso page of the book which shows that I do own it, (even though there's no entry in the order history of either Vyrso or Logos - but this is not necessary for a book to be licensed)
This looks just like the reverse of a book not licensed for mobile/web but may mean that the file simply is not on your download server (but on the server that services the web access)

Could this be related to the download bug discussed at https://community.logos.com/forums/t/121737.aspx and elsewhere?

This is possible. In fact, I do see the characteristic errors from the patch process in my logos.log, but only for existing resources. I just bought a small resource from Logos.com (on sale from H. Ridderbos) and will see if it comes through.
EDIT: Seems you are right, no Ridderbos locally. I find both books in a list of resources that have issues downloading at all or in a new version to my L6 beta install:
2016-01-16 15:20:34.1333 22 Info UpdateManager No local or server version found for resource 'LLS:9780781412827'.
2016-01-16 15:20:34.1343 22 Info UpdateManager No local or server version found for resource 'LLS:AUTHNTRIDDERBOS'.Somehow I didn't register that it was determined that the bug affects the download of new resources - at least I got new books up until yesterday. Well. So it's waiting for beta 5 and being able to use/test the web app a bit more...

Same issue here. Can be accessed on mobile and Faithlife, but not on desktop even though a reading plan has been automatically generated. No sense in me reporting any additional discrepancies. Will wait for beta 5 (due next week) and see what happens.

This is related to a current issue in the beta. We were told a fix will be coming out next week.

We have found the problem, fixed it, and ensured everyone who was affected has proper access to the book. If you're still observing problems accessing this resource and you're a follower of The mingling of souls, then please let us know.
Note: this issue with beta desktop access is still being addressed separately.
Thanks for your patience and for taking the time to report the problem!

I do have a similar issue. I am following the reading plan, but the only access I have is through faithlife.com. My Vyrso account tells me I already own the book, but it doesn't show up in my library. (I'm on 6.8 SR-1)

Jacky, have you tried running the "Update Resources" command? That should prompt the desktop software to recheck for resources that haven't downloaded.
If you still have problems, please feel free to give our Customer Support department a call. The number is 1-800-875-6467.

That did it! Thanks Toby.
