Looks like a great reading plan. I've created my own. I have a pdf of the books to be read in 2017. This file is in the Faithlife group files section. I will also be updating the group'so daily reading plan as we progress through each volume.
And it'seems good to have you with us on this great journey.

Yes, there are two reading plans up right now. One I created and one another user made. I will be putting up a volume by volume reading plan. This month my plan has us reading volume 3, Homer. I'll post the next reading plan at the end of the month.

So following the link I posted above, I put together the first year's worth of reading from the Great Books series and the Gateway to the Great Books set. I was going to directly upload the files here, but it seems I can't do that anymore?
Either way, Here's a link to my Onedrive account so anyone can get them if they want them. Included are both PDFs and Word documents in case you want to rearrange things. I'm including a detailed table of contents of the Great Books and Gateway series too. I originally set all these up in OneNote, which allows you to put little check boxes next to each line item. I'm going to use that to track my progress. If anyone wants the OneNote lists, let me know. I'd need to share it to you and you'd have to copy and paste the list into your own Notebook.

Yes, my reading plan will require between 15 and 20 pages a day.
Suggested reading plan for the Great Books Challenge 2017
All the calculations are approximate.
Amount of reading required
: You will need to read approximately 15-20 pages a day. 20 pages is approximately 10,000 to 17,000 words. 17,000 word reading at 200 words per minute is approximately 1hr 25m. Break up the reading into three approximately 30minute segments. Read for 30min. in the morning, in the afternoon, and at night.
Schedule
January - Volume 3 Homer
(541pgs) 20 pages a day to finish this volume in 1 month.
February and March - Volume 4
Aeschylus, Sophocles, Euripides, Aristophanes (905pgs) 15 Pages a day to finish in 2 months.
April - Volume 5 Herodotus, Thucydides
(593pgs) 20 pages a day to finish in 1 month.
May and June - Volume 6 Plato
(814pgs) 15 pages a day to finish in 2 months.
July and August - Volume 7 Aristotle
1 (726pgs) 12 pages a day to finish in 2 months.
September and October - Volume 8 Aristotle 2
(699pgs) 12 pages a day to finish in 2 months.
November - Volume 9 Hippocrates, Galen
(449pgs) 15 pages a day to finish in 1 month.
December - Volume 10 Euclid, Archimedes, Nicomachus
(636pgs) 21 pages a day to finish in 1 month.

Yes, this is literally a challenge. My desire is to read the 60 volumes in 5-7 years, not 10-12. But you are welcome to create your own plan and share it with the group. It isn't required that every person follow my plan in order to be a part of the group. Read as fast or slow as you like and share any thoughts, questions, or insights.

[Y] I timed myself reading book 2 of the Iliad and it took me 1hr 30mins to complete it.

I am doing another challenge for 2017. I will try to keep up with this pace but if I can't I will delete and plan the resources later. Reading 18 other books between now and the end of March already.

Was reading War and Peace from the 3 Volume in Everyman's Library. Since it is in the Great Books Logos collection I decided to forget the print book and just read it in the bible software. I compared the print with the digital and the page numbers are different and the chapters are different but the content is exactly the same.

So long as the content is the same I guess there isn't much of a problem unless you're trying to read on the paper and then switch to the software.

I started the Great Books reading project about 2 years ago. Initially I joined a group on https://onlinegreatbooks.com/
I've been reading on my own, but it would be more motivating to coordinate the reading with others.
Are you strictly following the Hutchins/Adler Great Books in order by volume?
I've been bouncing around Adler's list from the back of his book: How to Read a Book.
