Guides and Tools All Courses Factbook links are messed up
While I said all courses, I don't own all courses, but most all the courses I do have an issue with the Factbook. In the textbook, it shows an entry for the Factbook, however when I click the link another resource opens up. The workaround is easy because I can open the Factbook myself and run the report, but this is almost a universal problem in all courses, at least the ones I own. Somebody needs to update those links, either to the Factbook or change the report in the textbook to reflect what's really going to open.

This is from NT221 as you can see it's for a Factbook entry on Manna and the link will take me to The Bible and It's Story Volume 2, the one above it is the Factbook for Bread and if I click the link the Logos Bible Software Infographics open. There are issues in other courses I am doing. I am working on New Testament, Old Testament and Preaching certificates so it's those courses I know have issues.

Interesting.
For me the link shows as going to LBSI - not Factbook - and the information is displayed differently
If you click the info button when does it say the course was produced - mine
I wonder if there are different versions of this available.

Matt, the courses in these examples were actually produced before the Factbook existed. They originally pointed to the Bible Facts Tool from Logos 5. When the Factbook replaced the Bible Facts Tool in Logos 6, the Bible Facts Tool links were redirected to the Factbook. Unfortunately, with the way some of the original links were generated they end up pointing to a specific location (like an image or the family tree).
We are planning on updating these links when we create Activities resources for older courses. Factbook links should work normally for all courses released after 2014.

That's probably because you have the course open in the Courses tool. The tool is looking at where the link is directing and pulling the info from there instead of relying on the info in the course transcript resource.

Thanks Miles
Makes sense - I should have thought to check that.

Thanks Miles, that makes perfect sense and what I thought, but still wanted to bring it up because it's in a ton of courses.
