Books I need for courses?
How can I tell which resources I need for a given course before I buy it?

For each course there should be a corresponding Faithlife group with a list of referenced documents.
See below for an example - you will need to Follow the group to see this
Having said that, you only need the resources you are going to reference and follow up on so you may choose to not have all of them

As an alternative to Graham's great recommendation - which I used to give in the past, too - you can utilize the courses tool in Logos: Start it via the menu Tools / Courses and select category: Courseware
You will see all of Logos' mobile Ed courses in this category - those you don't own under "unavailable", Select the course you are interested in - it will show a list of the recommended resources and the times they are referred to in the course As an example I looked into AP101:
green checked resources you own, grey locked resources you might consider acquiring to get most of the course.
In this example, if I were to buy AP101 I'd check out "Answers to tough questions" because it is advised reading 14 times in the course - clicking will give the usual "you don't have a license" tab, with preview, price etc. or at least a link to logos.com.
In my opinion, this is much more convenient than working through the group's Excel list by hand
Have joy in the Lord!

I recommend upgrading - the free Logos 7 engine is available at https://www.logos.com/product/136022/basic
And Mick’s suggestion is much better than mine!

Thank you all for the replies. I have another question but will start a new topic.

Fascinating the things you learn grazing in the forums grasses. Thanks, for that tip Mick!

Interestingly, the courses tool is empty for me. I distinctly remember that this hasn't always been the case...
Any idea what's going on?

I'm not sure if this is possible or not, but I would like to see required and recommended books for each course put into a bundle that can be purchased.

possibly the German localization. Try switching to English UI and see whether it works then.
Indeed it does! I even reported it before... https://community.logos.com/forums/t/142438.aspx
